Welshpoultry is the Welsh agent for the best UK and EU hatcheries. We rear 13 breeds from sexed day old chicks selling them at all ages upto 18 weeks of age, selling mostly garden hens to families and hobbyists. Our bloodlines are therefore unique to Wales and we have learnt which breeders provide the hardiest and strongest layers. More importantly , the longest laying life so your pets don't stop laying for many years.
We free range rear our young hens as soon as they are off heat, allowing the natural daylight cycle and rear in small groups (this is why you will often see different age groups available) Based near Pontypridd we are an ideal location for Cardiff, Newport, Swansea and Brecon.
The birds become used to people, change and even the odd scare. This real life rearing ensures hardy, confident , curious and stress free birds with no losses or bad habits.
